TERMS OF SERVICE
The LEADERS IN SALES Community is operated by SAWOO GmbH.
Throughout the site, the terms “organizer”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SAWOO GmbH. By registering for or participating in our events, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including additional terms and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not participate in the events.
These General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively. Any terms and conditions of the Customer that conflict with or deviate from these Terms and Conditions shall not be recognized unless the Organizer has expressly agreed to them in an individual case.
§1 Rights and Duties
The organiser reserves the right to change the schedule, content, and locations of events at short notice. The organiser will endeavour to provide an equivalent substitute where possible.
If someone registers on behalf of another person, they must ensure that the participant knows and accepts these Terms.
The organiser may require participants to comply with any official regulations in force at the time of the event (e.g., wearing a face mask if required by law or authorities).
§2 Photos and Recordings
By attending the event, you expressly agree that photos and videos may be taken of you during the event. These may be used, published, and distributed publicly by the organiser in online media, print media, and other formats for marketing and documentation purposes without compensation.
If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded, you can withdraw your consent by notifying the organiser during the event using the provided questionnaire.
You may also withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the organiser. Any revocation does not affect the legality of the use prior to withdrawal.
The unauthorised use of personal photographic and recording equipment by participants is prohibited.
§3 Use of Personal Data
The event is a networking event where participants are encouraged to connect and share their professional details. By registering or attending, you agree that the organiser may collect, store, and use your provided contact details (name, position, company, email address, and phone number) for the following purposes:
Sending and sharing community-related updates via SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, and email and informing you about future community events, networking opportunities, and relevant updates.
Sharing your data with other event participants to facilitate networking. However, they are not permitted to disclose this information to third parties or use it for commercial purposes unrelated to the event.
You can opt out of receiving communication at any time by contacting the organiser.
§4 Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Rights
Participants agree not to share, disclose, or publish any insights, discussions, or knowledge gained during the events, including the identities and affiliations of other participants, without explicit consent from the individuals involved.
Participants agree not to disclose personal data of other participants (name, position, company, email address, and phone number) to third parties or use it for commercial purposes.
All materials provided during the event, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and recordings, remain the intellectual property of the organiser or respective rights holders.
Participants may not copy, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without explicit permission.
§5 Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser, its affiliates, partners, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your participation in the events. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, illness, property damage, data loss, or any other harm resulting from event activities, venue conditions, third-party actions, or force majeure events.
By attending the events, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness (including exposure to contagious diseases), travel-related risks, and any unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser’s control. You agree that your participation is at your own risk, and you waive any claims against the organiser, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
§6 Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms be found wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
